Figma just launched major updates at Figma Config 2025 including Figma Sites, Figma Make, Figma Draw and Buzz! Let's take a look at these updates and new features.
Figma Sites - Publish Websites
Figma will now allow you to create websites from your Figma designs. You will be able to do so much, so let's take a look at the list of features:
Breakpoints - Breakpoints will let you create different screens for different device sizes and tweak each screen individually. This is called adaptive design, where websites behave differently on different devices.
Code Blocks - You will also be able to add custom code to your websites and enable new functionality without having to use any other tools. You can even tweak Figma designs using this code and add custom interactions.
Preset Interactions & Animations - There are a new set of interactions under the "interactions" tab. With one click you can add preset hover animations, parallax scroll, and even drag animations, which you can then edit and tweak.
Drag & Drop Sections - The left panel houses drag and drop sections like hero sections, headers, footers, and more. This will save a lot of time with pre-made assets.
Figma CMS - Figma is working on a working CMS to create dynamic websites and content for your websites. This will come later during the year.
Publish & Manage - Figma will now let you publish working websites from inside the tool. You can even publish to a custom domain and manage your published website's settings.
A lot of these Figma Sites features will slowly come to Figma in the coming months, so keep and eye out for them!
Figma Make
Figma Make is an AI powered tool that creates apps and fully functional prototypes with just a prompt. If you have an idea, Figma will now be able to create a coded prototype with integrated APIs, custom content, and even hardware capabilities.
Figma Make can also convert your existing designs into a fun animated prototype. You just have to prompt and explain the animations and functionality, and just watch it happen live in-front of you.
You can edit and customize the AI output if you want just like you edit designs in Figma.

Figma Draw
Figma Draw has a lot of cool new features:
Quick Toggle - Figma Draw can be easily activated with a toggle at the bottom. This gives you full access to Draw's amazing new graphic design features.
Brushes & Strokes - Figma Draw comes with a lot of pre-set brushes and stroke styles where you can create freehand illustrations. This is especially great if you have a Wacom tablet or something of the like.
Progressive Blurs - Figma users have been asking for a progressive blur feature. It is finally here in Figma Draw!
Text On a Path - Text on path allows you to put text on any curve or shape that you want. This can help you create some very cool effects for websites and more.
Transforms - The transform feature allows you to repeat design elements and move them around to create unique patterns and effects.
Stroke Tweaking - You can heavily tweak strokes with variable stroke widths, dynamic strokes, wiggles, lasso tool, shape builder and more.

Figma Buzz
A quick editor for marketing and branding teams that allows non-designers to edit content in designs without manipulating the actual source file. This is great for teams since it also comes with "bulk edit" that allows users to upload CSV or Excel files and fill in designs with a large amount of content.
Designers can lock layers they don't want people to fiddle with and they can create variable for people to choose from to provide some customization to people using their designs.
This tool feels a lot like "Canva" since it is so simple to use and people can easily edit templates.
